Ridiculous Ramblings, Really

Is there anyone on my flist, London based, who'd be willing to put up with having a relatively large package sent to them and having it occupy a corner for a few month, at which point I'd come to retrieve it?
My mother apparently found some seller in the UK providing some obscure extension for her knitting machine which can be sent at a reasonable price inside the UK but not to Germany.
