No, it's 11 a.m., be quiet for some more hours please.

I wish my dogs would be afraid of the noise on NYE, it would be much easier to deal with than their starting to bark every time there is a new sound. In the night there's so much noise, they'll just ignore it, but during the day there's only an explosion every few minutes. I'll tell them to be quiet - a command they never learned very well - and just when I've got them to calm down, one of the neighbours kids will make something go boom again. *grumble*

Whoever designed those pre-tied bow ties had a generally good idea, but I personally think getting them on can't be much easier than actually tying the normal things.
Where is one supposed to put the hook? I couldn't find any form of matching eye or loop.
Stupid thing

And now I'll go and feel stupid some more - my parents and sister2 are at some relatives since yesterday and left some sort of meat in the fridge. I'd happily live on bread and sweets - that's what I do most of the year anyway - but I think this thing should be either eaten or thrown away today.
But I can't cook. I have absolutely no idea what to do with this thing.
Oh well, I have a strong stomach and if it's completely disgusting there's pizza in the freezer.
