Did I really just tell the prof during an exam that he should fail me, because I *know* I could do better?
And insisted until he did so? Even though I'm pretty sure I would have passed otherwise?

Of course, otherwise nothing would have stopped me from completing this one. It's just that once we've passed the exam, we can't retake it if we don't like the grade. And since I know I can pass the exam the worst that can happen in October is, that I'll get the same grade I would have done this time.
