Did I really just tell the prof during an exam that he should fail me, because I *know* I could do better?
And insisted until he did so? Even though I'm pretty sure I would have passed otherwise?

Yes, he did fail me. He needed some convincing but he did. *g*

The problem is that once we've passed the exam, we can't retake it if we don't like the grade. And since I know I can pass the exam, the worst that can happen in October is that I'll get the same grade I would have done this time.

Just a flare of ambition. Pathology is an interesting subject and I'm not stupid - just lazy. I really *know* I can do better.

Of course, otherwise nothing would have stopped me from completing this one. It's just that once we've passed the exam, we can't retake it if we don't like the grade.
