I thought with my sister 400km away I was save from this

I know I can't go around and forbid people to smoke pot in their own rooms, but do they have to open the windows too?
There are people who simply hate the smell and get nothing out of it but a headache.

It's still 29°C in here, I really don't want to close the windows.
*contemplates the essential oils*
*hopes a drop of eucalyptus under the nose will do the trick*

Ah, yes. The opening-the-window-will-make-the-smell-go-away trick. My brother seemed to believe this for years, unaware that having six friends in his room, listening to Bob Marley and being unnaturally quiet was as good as wearing a t-shirt saying "I Smoke Dope, Ask Me How".

Perhaps you should find a "fragrant" hobby and do it in front of their open windows. Something involving human waste products, perhaps.

Urgh, that sucks.
Our neighbours don't smoke pot, but they often grill these days, and they regularly burn their steaks, which is an awful smell.
We console us with the thought that if there're 29°C inside and 29°C outside, it doesn't matter whether the window's open or not. Our fan does a good job with stirring the warm air, though.

Arrrrrrrrgh. The guys in my house in Marburg used to pull the window trick whenever I asked them very nicely to please not smoke in the community kitchen because I'm allergic to it and would like to cook and eat my dinner without my senses of smell and taste shutting down. Gee, thanks, guys. Now it's smoky AND COLD. Seriously! Fresh air can't cure everything!
