Leipzig really needs some larger flag poles in front of the town hall. Because flags at half-mast really look silly if they're nearly hitting passer-bys in the face.
I've never checked, but I don't think they're more than 5 metres. And I suck at estimating, but I think the flags are about 2.5 m high. So the lower edge is just the right height to annoy people over 1.75 m.
