Why is the American paperback of Monstrous Regiment available on 01.09. and the UK one not before 01.10?

In other news, some kind of marten seems to have decided that our roof is a perfect place to live. If I were sure that it's just one and not a mother with ... pups? I'd borrow a cat trap from somewhere to get it out, since it's apparently living right over my room and makes a lot of noise.

And if I'm lucky it'll rain this evening and I won't have to explain how to do nordic walking this week.

Oh, I think it's pretty cool. I just think it would be much cooler if it would decide to play over my sisters room. (Hey, it's most active during dawn. I'm awake at this time, my sister is still asleep and wouldn't even notice the noise. It's not as if I wish my sister ill. *g*)

At the moment, we've got a mouse in the living room in addition to the marten. Keeping all doors and windows open during the summer will have that result.

And to prove that you're not completely weird: I've thought about spending an evening on the roof with my camera, just because I want a picture of the critter. If only it would stop raining...

LOL! I suppose now it's only fair that I admit to leaving mouse-type treats in the middle of the sitting room floor, and then lying in wait with my camera for the mice to come out and retrieve them. I do have pictures - SO CUTE! ::grin::
