It's summer!
My shoulders and neck are sunburnt, but I don't care. It's warm and sunny outside. Finally!
Expected time for complaints about it being too hot to start: 2 days.
And apparently summer means not enough blood in the blood banks. I'm not quite sure how it works, but they're always looking for donors in summer. I just got another card, which means they are writing people who haven't donated for over 1 1/2 years.
But as the plasma center I went to nearly every week for those 1 1/2 years just closed, they are lucky and can have my blood. I wonder if I can again set up my pattern of irresponsibly donating 6 times a year and not only 4 times like women are supposed to? (I don't get money for this, so I'm not doing it just because I want to earn more - but if I'm healthy and my blood count is ok I don't see why I shouldn't be allowed to donate.)
Hmmm. Schedule for Friday: donating blood at 8 am, turning in my last two reports, last clinical lesson ever, giving Julia a lift to the airport (maybe), four hour drive home.
