I feel all grown up now

I changed my first tire today.
Dead easy.

In case it isn't obvious, I'm trying to focus on positive things and not the fact that a 20 cm steel nail decided my car's tire would be a good place to be.
Or that it was so large and stuck in such an odd angle that I need to buy a complete new wheel.
Or that this was certainly not my idea of a good way to start the day.

Grrrr.

I have already watched people changing tires, but I'm not sure if I could do it myself. I'd probably be too weak to loosen the screws.

I noticed that you were the only other one who selected Sachsen as 'Where in Germany have you lived?' in eilanhp's poll and came curiously over to look at your journal.
One of my school friends studied Pharmacy in Leipzig, and spent a lot of time in the TV Club, because the vets were a truly funny folk. :o)

And I have to confess, I was more afraid of pulling the screws to tight after I put them back on than not being able to loosen them. Ich bin ein ziemlicher Grobmotoriker.
