May. 29th, 2004 21:12Sunshine and a good book. A very nice way to spend the day.
The Da Vinci Code. Full of treasure hunt riddles and random information of questionable value - which I love - and secret societies and conspiracies, which I could do without.
But still a nice way to spend the day.
I also dyed my hair and walked in the city for ice cream, where I came up with this basic point scheme for people-watching during the wave-gothic meeting:
One point for every person who's jingling while walking.
Two points for every guy in a skirt
Three points for everyone in fishnets
Four points for any hair-colour that looks natural
Five points for every top hat (Bonus points if it just seems to be a top hat but turns out to be hair)
The usual karma points for helping anyone staring helpless at a map and the street signs
Five points off if pot gives you a headache and you're too stupid to give the smoking groups on the grass a wide berth.
And while I'm doing another of these 'nothing happened but the world is nice' entries, I'm going to squeeze in some quiz results. (Ok, *some* is an understatement. Try '50 or so')
