If I hit her head against the wall until she shuts up, can I claim self-defense?

Christina isn't really a bad person, but this woman loves to hear herself talk way too much.
I'm only stopping myself from telling her exactly what I think of her verboseness and insistence to do everything, absolutely everything, 100% correctly, by telling myself that I only have to live with it for some more months and if she wouldn't be the chairperson we would have to find someone else and this could happen to be me.

But ... AHHHHHH! ... we're students, we're supposed to represent the other students, and not even the professors insist on three correctly filed copies of every stupid decision.
