Another entry for my list of things to do, should my habit of relying mostly on something as vague as 'intelligence' for exams catch up with me:
Repair bikes.

Now back to studying - visceral Leishmaniosis is caused by a Th2 induced humoral immunologic response, the cutan form by an inflammatory Th1 response - useless facts part III.

This was the last exam without any impact on the final marks.

While I'm perfectly willing to just scrape through things like these, it would probably be a bad idea to ignore the ones coming.

Six month till the first five exams, after them one year and then the next six, half a year later the last seven tests.

This is important. It's my life. I should take it serious.
On the other hand I think things like this every time I just had a test, knowing I could have done so much better if I just put in a little effort.

Lazy bitch!

It's a good thing the heating in the cafeteria building on our campus is to be changed in the next weeks.
Our student representations 'office' is in this building. So we get new heating too.
No problem so far.
They'll need the key for the room - not so good because all the stuff we sell (rubber gloves, transcripts,...) is stored there. But we were assured that the firm doing the work is well known and trustworthy. Hmmm Ok, if you say so.
Still no problem.
They want to have a look this week to check if we need to move things to make room.
Also OK.

I sent a mail trying to find a good time to meet ...how about Friday, anytime but between 10:15 and 11:15?... Because this is the time I have the one course I absolutely have to go.

I just got a mail back ...Let's meet Friday between 10:15 and 11:15 please...

*Starts mailing everyone else who has a key to this room, asking what they'll be doing tomorrow at 10:15*

I wanted to help in the small animal clinic next week.

This entails doing all slave work anyone there can think off from 7am until 4pm.

If I don't do it, I could work 2 1/2 days, go to the bees excursion and drive to Frankfurt on Thursday morning and not on Friday afternoon when the holidays will have started for everyone.

I wonder if the list of helpers for the second to last week of the holidays is full already.

If I could switch, I would work there the last two weeks and maybe do two hours of typing afterwards.

If everything works out the next weeks will look like this:

  • Half a week of typing, half a week free.
  • Three weeks of biking 30 km every day, and checking if supermarkets and restaurants are doing everything right (cleaning, temperature of keeping the food,...) in between if I'm lucky. If I'm not, I'll do the paper-work.
  • One week in England - I have to make some plans what exactly I want to do there soon.
  • Four weeks without any plans, aside from anything my mother may think of that needs to be done in the house - maybe I will actually use some of this time for studying? I don't think I will, but I will take the books with me just to keep up appearances.
  • Two weeks in the small animal clinic. With some typing in the evenings.
  • Start of the new semester - time for the first bouts of panic because the first part of the exam for vets is only half a year away.

I really hope that's possible.
