So... what's the underlined stuff? I listed to the post and I couldn't hear those spots.

I keep meaning to make one of these voice posts seeing as it's been free States-side, but I keep forgetting. Or I think that I'll sound too dorky. lol

Underlined are the things which SpinVox couldn't transcribe. I don't quite hear the first thing, but the second thing is "strange accents".

The first underlined thing could actually be "LiveJournal", the first part of which SpinVox did recognize ("live")... It sort of sounds as if ridicully stumbled over it, and tried to say something else first (Live --po...--Journal).

It is 'LiveJournal'. I guess the system isn't made for mumbling, stuttering and strange accents. But it copes well enough with the rest I think.

Sounding dorky is a requirement for these phone-posts.

And the underlined thins are words where the automatic transcription thingy couldn't deal with my mumbling.

Yeah I thought it was mostly a problem with mumbling. Otherwise it did pretty well. Then again, I wonder if they have people transcribing them instead of software. That would explain the ampersands since they're faster to type than "and."

You've inspired me to make a voice post. Now if only I had something not so boring to say! :D I saved the phone number to my mobile, so maybe I'll see something really screwed up around town and I'll dial up an honest to goodness rant. lol
