You know that you're addicted when...

The first thing you do after emptying a cup of coffee into your laptop is getting the internet connection of the Old Desktop to work, so you can tell everybody about it.

*hugs backups closely and hopes against hope The Toy will simply dry out*

Oh Scheiße. Hast du den Kaffee über die Tastatur geschüttet? Ich habe auf meinem Laptop mal Wein verschüttet, und nachdem ich die Tastatur rausgenommen habe und alles saubergewischt habe und ein, zwei Tage gewartet, ging er wieder. War Zucker im Kaffee? ^^;

Oh, bad luck. I once spilt a G&T on a work laptop when I was covering overnight from home - it was great fun rushing in to the office at 2am to finish my shift (and to explain why the laptop was leaking).

*fingers crossed for yours*

Well, internet connection is essential for life.
Now we all know about it, we all cross our fingers that the laptop will survive, and with so many fingers crossed, your laptop has no other choice than surviving the coffee, hasn't it? *crosses fingers that laptop survives*

Eep, I sympathise, I'm still finding my keyboard a pain even though it seems to have mostly dried out okay. Coffee not good *sigh*

It is quite shocking!

The oven ... I'll remember that one, just in case :)
