A Döner is one of the German fast foods of choice.
No matter what the Wikipedia shows, the proper look of a Döner is something like this:


It's blasphemy to serve Döners in something else but a triangular bun, I tell you, *blasphemy*!

Oh. It looks a fair bit like a gyro (Greek or Middle Eastern food). Sliced roasted meat in a piece of flat bread with onions, tomatoes, lettuce and some sorta sauce.

Yeah, Middle-Eastern, Greek, Turkish, they all seem to claim ownership. Roasted meat on some breadish thing, I'm sure most cultures have some variant.
