Wha?
I wasn't aware that by being elected as a member of the Fakultätsrat I'm automatically a member of the Konzil.
I don't even know for sure what the Konzil *does*. But the invitation coming from the rector and including things like "Should the meeting - according to ยง3 - be adjourned after 5 hours ..." does not bode well, I think.
Do I have to go? I'm sure I could do something useful instead. I could even be convinced that studying can be counted as useful.

It's actually a relatively important thing - one of the three student representatives in the committee that decides most of the things going on at our faculty - but I think I lack the political ambition you need to think of it as fun. It's more a thing that needs to be done, and if no one else is willing, I'm going to do it, even though I'm probably not very good at it.
