Words I don't want to hear when I'm preparing to leave the clinic at midnight (I was only there this late because I covered a shift of one of our student nurses, because I'm nice like that): "Oh Alex, just the person we need, we've got a dog that ate razor blades and a cat with a Pneu."

The helping out I don't mind so much, not even that I only just got home, what I really mind is the fact that I had to hand pick my way through vomit and later shit to figure out how much of the stuff we'd already got out.
