I'm living in a world of acronyms and abbreviations. And not only in the fandom. Since I was bored I wrote down some of those used in the last tree days of classes:

NNR; CRH/AVP; ACTH; RAAS; WHWT; PU/PD; PCR; ELISA; IFAT; KBR; TSE; SAF; PrP^c; PrP^sc; ZNS; MBM/FKM; BAB; BBB; BARB; GBR; HTA; KFZ; HF; AF; IKT; spp.; obB; Lnn.; kbp; HSV; BHV; VZV; EHV; FeHV; Fac; Fab; MHC; HSK

And I wonder why I can't form coherent sentences in German any more.

Of course I'm only writing this to avoid looking up the numbers of all those places I have to call tomorrow.

[Edited to add: Thanks to dinahrae I remembered that it's a holiday in some of the Länder.
So, I think Bensheim is still Hessen and nobody will be working in the abattoir (slaughterhouse? I need a special dictionary just to look up all the vet-things) and I'll have one more day before I have to phone.]
