I'm formating my harddrive. I have an irrational fear typing things like format c: I imagine it to wake the sleeping beast that is Murphy's Law that's just waiting to be set free. If even one of my backups won't do what it's supposed to do I'll kill something.

I'm crossing my fingers for you, dear. I know the feeling. Last year, I went through some major problems with my laptop, and ended up reformatting something like four times in about 8 months. It was a nightmare. And scary. So, I hope all goes well for you!
